Residential Structure Fire

Girdletree was alerted for a reported residential structure fire at 5919 Box Iron Road in Girdletree. Arriving units reported smoke visible from sides A, B and D. Fire companies from Stockton, Snow Hill and Greenbackville were alerted on the Box Alarm. Pocomoke responded with a Tanker and Rescue. Fire damage was significant. No one was home at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported. The Worcester County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
