Girdletree Assist Snow Hill With Church Street Fire

The Girdletree VFC was alerted for a residential sturture fire on a Box Alarm response at 4741 Snow Hill Road in Snow Hill.  Engine/Tanker 301 responded and was initially assigned RIT, but later performed overhaul.

Fire Companines from Snow Hill, Stockton, Newark and Girdletree responded to the 6:45PM fire.  The structure was a single family home coverted into two apartments.  The first floor apartment was unattended.  The Worcester County Fire Marshal's Office listed the cause of the fire as accidential and contributed to unattended cooking.  No injuries occured and the fire originated in the second floor apartment.
