Assist Pocomoke With Structure Fire

On Thursday, May 3, 2018 10:48 p.m. Girdletree assisted the Pocomoke City Vol. Fire Company with a Pole building (Barn) fire, with exposures. The structure was fully involved when the first unit arrived. The buillding housed several vehicles including farm and construction equipment. There was a near-by structure which was damaged. Fire fighters from Pocomoke, Stockton, Girdletree, Snow Hill and New Church worked to bring the fire under control. There were no injuries.
