On Friday, June 14, 2019 Girdletree responded to assist Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company with a house fire at 5081 Wildcat Lane in Chincoteague. The response was part of a multi-department request for a large structure residental fire. Engine Tanker 301, Tanker 3 and Brush 3 responded. Girdletree was assigned to standby at Chincoteage HQ..
